However, it is notable that some of Lehi's posterity worshipped his God, Elohim, and Christ, by other names (as we interpret the language today). In addition, it is most likely that temples to the Sun were actually temples to the Son, which deterioriated in meaning down through the ages from 400 A.D to 1400 A.D.Delhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08982095508142923740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5948352943362975805.post-47052188434737334422010-02-16T08:41:39.672-08:002010-02-16T08:41:39.672-08:00How do you justify the fact that the early peoples...How do you justify the fact that the early peoples of Peru down thru to the Incas worshipped the Sun and sacrificed people?Jeniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00143283219655876718noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5948352943362975805.post-9461826155328370812010-02-11T13:28:57.043-08:002010-02-11T13:28:57.043-08:00I visited Pachacamac a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, the Peruvian government for many many years did nothing to preserve it and it is now almost being overrun by commercial construction. Hopefully something can be done to preserve what is left of this ancient site.Brandonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05716914528742923419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5948352943362975805.post-46230739496135834522010-02-10T22:13:55.944-08:002010-02-10T22:13:55.944-08:00I love your site, and especially your daily posts....I love your site, and especially your daily posts. If I am not mistaken, Viracocha can also be translated into con-ticci, or Kon-Tiki, which was the name Heyerdahl gave his reed boat that sailed from Peru to Polynesia.Colinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17940992536135144348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5948352943362975805.post-69844376308717439562010-02-10T15:54:01.417-08:002010-02-10T15:54:01.417-08:00The Incas did not have a written language, though ...The Incas did not have a written language, though they had quippos, a type of mnemonic recording with a series of knots on strings. While this was mostly inventory-oriented, it was a form of record keeping. However, the early Peruvians had a written language that made its way to Easter Island and elsewhere before the 400 A.D. This is covered extensively in my book, "Lehi Never Saw Mesoamerica." As for passing on stories, what many later called legends, the Inca and the middle Peruvian people before them (400 A.D. to 1400 A.D.) used story-telling to memorize and recount their history, genealogy, their Gods and all things that were important.Delhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08982095508142923740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5948352943362975805.post-80908961990120760792010-02-10T11:02:18.385-08:002010-02-10T11:02:18.385-08:00Did the incas have a writen language?
