There wasn't any other place to run. They obviously knew that Cummorah was their last hope of survival.

That is why the North American and Meso theories fail so completely because it those case the Nephites would have had options. Not so in South America. iterryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14836783863542965577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5948352943362975805.post-16432802981696971792018-08-25T09:43:32.932-07:002018-08-25T09:43:32.932-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Iterryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14281119992916618849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5948352943362975805.post-1130799310807712582018-08-25T08:59:55.405-07:002018-08-25T08:59:55.405-07:00The Land of Cumorah would also have been, quite li...The Land of Cumorah would also have been, quite literally, the end of the road. It likely would have been the northern terminus of the Nephite highway system. It should be the natural location where a final migration or gathering would end up, because the road ends and there is nowhere reasonable left to go.

I can't imagine why Mormon would arbitrarily select a hill and say, "let's make our last stand there." That's how I see it. But I could be wrong. Todd Durranthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08849004044712535542noreply@blogger.com
